I just got an 'mmo mouse' (Red Dragon- Perdition) that sounds like it has similar 1-12 thumb buttons. I literally got it like 20 mins ago and from what I've read/ figured out the 1-12 buttons ON THIS MOUSE directly correspond to the 1-9 buttons; 10-11-12 are default to other things (I think page back, etc). But if your bars are not configured to use 1-9, the buttons won't do anything. I was never a huge fan of using many of the number buttons, most of my binds are to actual keys/ shift+keys. So if you're the same, you have to reconfigure your bars/ hotkeys to actually use the 1-9 buttons. Either that, or you have to reconfigure your mouse buttons to equal keybinds.

That seems like just making a problem. Rule #1: Whenever possible, make default things work by default.
